About Our Flowers

They Are Truly Local and Fresh

Our flowers are grown in the coastal town of Marblehead, Massachussetts while almost 80 percent of fresh flowers sold in the United States and Canada are not grown in North America.

We source our seeds, bulbs, and compost from local suppliers who share our values and high quality of standards. We take great pride in growing quality flowers you can count on.

They Are Unique

Whipple Bee locally grown, joyfully shared flowers are a one of kind. The varieities we grow are not found at your local grocer or florist. They are uniquely beautiful, and foster feelings of joy and delight.

Locally Grown,
Joyfully Shared

Our mission is grow and share uniquely beautiful flowers that bloom joy, kindness, and connection in our communities.

So Why Choose Whipple Bee Flowers?

They Smell Lovely

Fresh local flowers smell lovely because they are grown, harvested, and delivered to your vase within hours to a few days. It’s why so many people appreciate and value the quality and experience of local flowers.

They Are Good for the Planet.

Our farm practices are good for the planet and pollinators like bees and butterflies. We grow organically and don’t use pesticides on our flowers.

Where do you grow, and can I visit your farm?

I love talking with folks about local flowers and the impact purchases have on small businesses, the planet, and our community.

Thanks to the kindness of Susan and Jan at Five Foot Flower Farm, spring field tulips are grown in raised beds on their

I’m so grateful for their trust in me to be a good steward of their property, where they grow hundreds of beautiful flowers for summer and fall bouquets on Saturday’s in support of the Pan Mass Challenge.
